About L'Adire

L’Adire is an indigenous tie and dye brand in Abeokuta, Nigeria. We are committed to creatively promoting and preserving our rich and artistic culture through textile design. By a variety of dye-resistant techniques including batik, eleso, eleko, alabere, and more, we curate beautiful handmade designs. Our textile designs are taken a step further by creating accessories and apparel from our handmade Adire fabric. Our goal is to present our designs in wearable and fashionable pieces from Africa to the world!

About Lade

Lade Owolabi is a remarkable woman of faith, lovingly married to Pastor Juwon Owolabi and blessed with wonderful children.

As a multifaceted leader, she serves as the Executive Director of L'Adire, while also being an accomplished author whose books have transformed and inspired countless lives.

L'Adire was born out of Lade's profound passion for African culture and her enduring fascination with Adire, a traditional textile art.

Driven by a vision to share this rich heritage globally, Lade aims to spread awareness and appreciation for Adire one fabric or accessory at a time.
